MOSCOW, June 23. /TASS/. Moscow will be forced to live under restrictive measures until the population develops a certain level of immunity to the coronavirus, Alexei Nemeryuk, first deputy chief of staff of the mayor and government of Moscow, head of the Moscow department of trade and services, said on Wednesday
"Until we achieve certain immunity, we will continue to jump from one lockdown to another. <...> This strain that is coming is dangerous, and immunity is needed. In this regard, the proposal that the restaurateurs made (covid-free zones — TASS) will become a rule starting next week," Nemeryuk said on the Soloviev Live YouTube channel.
Under the decree Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin signed on Tuesday, from June 28, only those who have recovered from COVID-19 no longer than six months ago, vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a negative coronavirus test that lasts for three days, will be allowed to visit public catering in Moscow.
Employees of the establishments will check the QR codes of visitors at the entrance. To get a QR code to visit a restaurant, one needs a negative PCR test, they need to do only in the capital's clinic.
