MOSCOW, February 22. /TASS/. Coronavirus fatalities in Moscow grew by 41 in the past twenty-four hours, the lowest level since October 11, the anti-coronavirus crisis center reported on Monday.

Overall, 14,782 people have died of the novel coronavirus since the start of the pandemic in the Russian capital, the latest data show.

New coronavirus cases in Moscow increased by 1,723 (0.17%) in the past twenty-four hours to 969,557. A day before, Moscow registered 1,602 new infections.

A total of 1,658 coronavirus patients were discharged from Moscow hospitals upon their recovery in the past day. Recoveries in the Russian capital grew by 886,273. Currently, 68,502 people continue their medical treatment from the novel coronavirus in Moscow, the latest figures indicate.
