COVID-19 receding in Russia, says health minister

MOSCOW, February 5. /TASS/. Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko has stressed that the coronavirus infection in the country has begun to subside.
"We see that the coronavirus infection is truly receding," he told the Russian TV.
According to the latest data of the national anti-coronavirus crisis center, 16,688 more COVID-19 cases were reported in Russia in the past 24 hours (0.43% increase).
To date, 3,934,606 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Russia, with 3,413,495 patients having recovered from the disease. Russia’s latest data indicates 75,732 fatalities nationwide. Earlier, the Russian government set up an Internet hotline to keep the public updated on the coronavirus situation.
