Mass vaccination against COVID-19 showing positive effect, says Russian health minister

MOSCOW, February 5. /TASS/. The mass vaccination campaign against the novel coronavirus infection is already demonstrating positive effects on the epidemic situation in the country, Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko said on Friday.
"Mass vaccination has had an impact on the development of the epidemic process because the amounts already supplied to the regions and the inoculated population constitute demonstrate a visible result in epidemiological terms and we see the positive effect." He said in an interview with the Rossiya-24 television channel.
According to the minister, the number of COVID-19 patients in Russia has decreased by more than 30% over the past three weeks.
