MOSCOW, January 29. /TASS/. Moscow’s Tverskoy District Court has placed Oleg Navalny, brother of blogger Alexey Navalny, on house arrest over violation of sanitary-epidemiological norms, the court informed TASS.
"The court satisfied the appeal of the investigation on placing Oleg Navalny on house arrest until March 23," the court said.
Earlier, the same court sent Oleg Stepanov, coordinator of Navalny’s headquarters, on house arrest until the same date. The court is also considering the appeals of the prosecution to use the same measure of restraint against activists Lyubov Sobol and Maria Alyokhina, as well as Anastasia Vasilyeva, head of the Alliance of Doctors.
