Moscow reports less than 2,000 new COVID cases for first time since September 26

The number of fatalities increased by 75, according to the anti-crisis center

MOSCOW, January 27. /TASS/. The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Moscow increased by 1,837 in the past 24 hours, the federal anti-crisis center told journalists Wednesday.

This is the first time since September 26 that less than 2,000 new cases were registered in 24 hours. The daily case growth ratio is 0.2%.

The number of fatalities increased by 75, the total death toll is now 13,175. Meanwhile, 5,924 patients were released from hospital; 115,167 continue to receive treatment. The total recovery count in Moscow is now 791,320.
