MOSCOW, January 18. /TASS/. Russian health workers have carried out more than 97 million coronavirus tests, the Russian consumer watchdog reported Monday.

"The Russian Federation conducted more than 97 million coronavirus tests," the statement reads. In the past 24 hours, 373,000 such tests were performed.

According to the agency, around 617,300 people in Russia remain placed under medical observation due to suspected coronavirus.
