Russian defense minister says feels good after getting coronavirus jab
Sergei Shoigu noted that he has neither run a high temperature nor experienced any other side effects
MOSCOW, September 5. /TASS/. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu has said that he feels good after being inoculated with the coronavirus vaccine and experiences no side effects.
"I feel quite all right. I have neither run a high temperature nor experienced any other side effects. I advise everyone to undergo vaccination," he said in a televised interview with Rossiya’1 channel, which excerpts were aired on Saturday.
According to the minister, he got coronavirus jab to "dispel the rest of doubts" and to prove that "it is safe, that it is effective and makes life much easier."
It was reported on Friday that the Russian defense minister had been inoculated with a national coronavirus vaccine. Shoigu broke the news to his counterparts from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) at the Patriot army park, where the vaccine was presented to them.
