MOSCOW, July 15. /TASS/. Russia’s aviation authorities will announce resumption of international flights in the near future, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said at a meeting of the Coordination Center for Coronavirus Response on Wednesday.
"We are also addressing the issue of resumption of international aviation service with the countries meeting the criteria that we have announced on the principle of mutuality, and we expect the aviation authorities to provide respective information to us in the near future," she said.
Over 266,000 Russians have been carried back to Russia by repatriation flights since the beginning of the pandemic, Golikova added.
International aviation service between Russia and other countries was suspended on March 27 amid the coronavirus pandemic.
