MOSCOW, July 10. /TASS/. The Kremlin has denounced comparisons between the period of Vladimir Putin’s presidency in Russia and the period of Joseph Stalin’s leadership over the Soviet Union, branding them as inappropriate, Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov told journalists Friday.
"We consider [such comparisons] inappropriate, factually wrong," he said, commenting on attempts to label Putin’s presidency as "neo-Stalinism."
