MOSCOW, December 4. /TASS/. The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, one of the largest museums in Russia, plans to take part in 19 international projects in 2019, its Director Marina Loshak told reporters on Tuesday.

"In 2019, we are planning to fulfill 19 international projects," Loshak said.

Moscow's museum, which owns one of Russia's largest collections of the world's art from ancient times to the present day, will send nearly 20 exhibits to the Grand Palais exhibition "Red" devoted to the repercussions of the October 1917 revolution. The Picasso Museum in Malaga will host an exhibition ‘Iliazd & Picasso’ about friendship between the Spanish painter and Ilia Zdanevich, known as Iliazd, a Georgian and French writer and artist.

"Later we are planning this exhibition in Barcelona and Paris," Loshak said. Now the Pushkin Museum is hosting an exhibition Picasso&Khokhlova. This exhibition tells a love story between Picasso and his first wife and Russian dancer Olga Khokhlova.

Among other international projects, which the Pushkin Museum will join, are "Natalya Goncharova" and "Van Gogh" at London’s Tate Gallery and "Five Centuries of European Drawings: Masterpieces of the Pushkin Museum" (202 items) at the Custodia Foundation in Paris.
