Police and Russian Guard officers are ensuring law and order
MOSCOW, May 13. /TASS/. About 1,000 people have showed up to march in an authorized rally for internet freedom in downtown Moscow, a spokesman for the capital’s police department told TASS on Sunday.
“A public gathering that was sanctioned by the Moscow city authorities is underway on Academician Sakharov Avenue. About 1,000 people are taking place,” the spokesman said.
Police and Russian Guard officers are on hand to maintain law and order.
