The Kremlin spokesman declined to name foreign leaders who had expressed their desire to attend the festivities in Moscow

ST. PETERSBURG, April 27. /TASS/. Special invitations are not going to be sent out to the heads of state and governments of foreign countries to attend the Victory Day parade in Moscow on May 9, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"There are no special invitations. As a rule, those who want to attend this parade one way or another come [to the Victory Parade in Moscow]," the Russian presidential spokesman said.

Neither foreign leaders’ attendance at the parade nor its protocol order is being planned, Peskov said.

"Of course, the doors are absolutely open for all those who wish [to come]," he said. The Kremlin spokesman declined to specify which foreign leaders had expressed their desire to attend the festivities in Moscow, promising to do so later.
