MOSCOW, April 20. /TASS/. Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov has dismissed a passage from a book by former FBI chief James Comey describing the "details" of an alleged private conversation between Russian and US leaders Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump.

"If it is true the book contains a claim like that, then this part [of the book] contradicts reality," Peskov said when asked for a comment about media reports that Comey, in his memoirs, recalls Putin in a conversation with Trump mentioning the beauty of young Russian ‘ladies of easy virtue’."

"President Putin could never say such things and he did not say anything like that to Trump, especially, since they had never spoken to one another prior to Trump becoming president," Peskov pointed out.

"As for Comey’s book in general, I’m not in the position to judge. I haven’t read it," Peskov noted.
