India takes record 104 satellites into orbit at one go — agency

The previous record was held by Russia, which launched 39 satellites in one mission in 2014
BEIJING, February 15. /TASS/. India orbited a record of 104 satellites atop a single rocket, China’s Xinhua news agency said Wednesday.
The main payload is the Earth-mapping Cartosat 2 series satellite, weighting 714 kilograms. The rest 103 satellites, weighting 664 kilograms in total, are small satellites belonging to the United States, Israel, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates.
The previous record was held by Russia, which launched 39 satellites at one go in 2014.
