KOROLEV (Moscow Region), October 30. /TASS/. The spacecraft Soyuz MS with three crewmembers onboard has undocked from the International Space Station (ISS) to descend from the orbit and return to the Earth, the Moscow Region-based Mission Control Center told TASS on Sunday.
"The physical separation of the spacecraft and the station occurred," the center said.
In the next few minutes, the engine will release two impulses to take the spacecraft to a safe distance from ISS.
The spacecraft will bring back Russian cosmonaut Anatoly Ivanishin, NASA astronaut Kathleen Rubins and the Japanese astronaut Takuya Onishi from a 115-day long space mission.
Among those who remains at ISS are Russian cosmonauts Andrei Borisenko and Sergey Ryzhykov and NASA astronaut Robert Shane Kimbrough.
