The Russian craft has orbited Earth 34 times before catching up with the ISS

MOSCOW, October 21. /TASS/. Russia's Soyuz MS-02 carrying new International Space Station crew members is docking the orbiter.

The hatches between the spacecraft and station will open at around 8:35 a.m. EDT (1235 GMT) and the crew will be greeted by the current three-person crew.

The craft has orbited Earth 34 times before catching up with the ISS. 

The crew comprises Russia’s Sergey Ryzhikov and Andrey Borisenko, as well as US astronaut Robert Shane Kimbrough. The Soyuz MS-02 also carries a part of relics of Saint Seraphim of Sarov, one of the most renowned Russian monks.
