NEW YORK, April 9. /TASS/. American aerospace manufacturer and space transport services company Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SpaceX) on Friday successfully launched the Dragon spacecraft carrying water, foodstuffs and scientific devices toward the International Space Station (ISS).
The Falcon 9 carrier rocket with the cargo spacecraft blasted off from Cape Canaveral, Florida, at 20:43 UTC.
The Dragon is carrying some three metric tons of cargoes, including materials for 250 scientific experiments and an inflatable module.
