The capsule will spend 30 days in orbit twice as high as the International Space Station
MOSCOW, December 11. /TASS/. Mice, insects and micro-organisms will fly into space aboard the Bion-M 2 space capsule to be launched in 2020, the Russian Academy of Sciences Space Council said on Friday.
The capsule will spend 30 days in orbit 800-1,000 kilometers above Earth, twice as high as the International Space Station.
Some 30 experiments will be carried out during the flight.
