Crew Dragon spacecraft with Russian cosmonaut Fedyayev on board undocks from ISS
The Crew-12 crew has been working at the space station since mid-February
NEW YORK, October 7. /TASS/. Spacex's Crew Dragon Freedom spacecraft carrying the Crew-12 mission members, including Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyayev, successfully undocked from the International Space Station (ISS), the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) that broadcast the event on YouTube reported.
Undocking took place at 8:05 a.m. EST (3:05 p.m. Moscow time, 12:05 p.m. GMT). The spacecraft’s journey back to Earth will take more than a day. It is scheduled to splash down off the coast of California at around 6:34 p.m. Moscow time (3:34 p.m. GMT).
The Crew-12 crew has been working at the space station since mid-February. In addition to Fedyayev, the mission includes NASA astronauts Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway, as well as European Space Agency astronaut Sophie Adenot. On October 4, Meir handed over the ISS command to Roscosmos cosmonaut Pyotr Dubrov.
