STOCKHOLM, October 6. /TASS/. Francis Halzen has received the 2026 Nobel Prize in physics, the Nobel Committee for Physics of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences said.
The scientist was awarded for his "decisive contributions to the IceCube Neutrino Observatory and the discovery of high-energy neutrinos of astrophysical origin," the committee said.
