BEIJING, September 1. /TASS/. China has successfully conducted the first launch of the Pallas-1 carrier rocket, the Xinhua news agency reported.

The launch took place at 10:00 a.m. Beijing time (02:00 a.m. GMT) from the Dongfeng commercial space site. The rocket’s flight proceeded normally, and the mission’s test objectives were achieved.

This was the Pallas-1 launch vehicle’s maiden flight.
