MOSCOW, November 26. /TASS/. The Kondor-FKA 2 high-resolution remote sensing satellite is scheduled to be launched at night on November 30, the Russian space corporation Roscosmos announced.
"The launch will take place on November 30 at 00:50 a.m. Moscow time [November 29, 09:50 p.m. GMT]," the corporation said. The launch vehicle carrying the satellite has already been assembled and will be transported to the launch pad on Wednesday.
The spacecraft is intended to support observation of the Northern Sea Route area, regardless of weather conditions and in the polar night environment.
