The Cygnus spacecraft arrived at the ISS on August 4 and delivered about 3.8 tons of cargo
NEW YORK, December 22. /TASS/. Northrop Grumman's US cargo ship Cygnus undocked from the International Space Station (ISS) on Friday. The process was streamed on the website of the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
The ship was undocked from the orbiting station at 08:07 a.m. US East Coast time. Loaded with garbage and waste, it is expected to burn up in the dense layers of the atmosphere in two weeks’ time.
The Cygnus spacecraft arrived at the ISS on August 4 and delivered about 3.8 tons of cargo. It stayed docked with the ISS for about 4.5 months.
The US also delivers cargoes to the ISS on SpaceX's Cargo Dragon spacecraft.
