KOROLYOV /Moscow Region/, October 26. /TASS/. Russia will be able to continue flying to the International Space Station (ICC) from the Baikonur spaceport, Vladimir Solovyov, general designer at the Rocket and Space Corporation Energia and Russian Academy of Sciences academician, said.
"We continue to work with the ICC. We do believe that with proper care for the Baikonur launch facility, we will be able to continue all these activities," he pointed out at Russian President Vladimir Putin’s meeting with young scientists and space industry specialists.
"However, if emergency situations arise <...>, we will have to think about a rescue system over the Pacific Ocean," Solovyov added.
