First launch from Baikonur in 2023 set for February 5

MOSCOW, January 21. /TASS/. The first launch of a carrier rocket in 2023 at the Baikonur Cosmodrome is scheduled for February 5, according to the video by the Yuzhny space center.

"Preparations are underway at the Baikonur cosmodrome for three simultaneous launch operations. Yuzhny space center employees are testing and preparing space rockets. The next launch is already scheduled for February 5. This is Russian hydrometeorological spacecraft Electro-L developed by NPO Lavochkin," the video said.

Earlier it was reported that Progress MS-22 cargo spacecraft will depart from Baikonur to the ISS on February 9.
