Forthcoming launches of Soyuz rockets from Baikonur due Aug, Sept

Earlier, Roscosmos said that a crewed flight to the ISS was scheduled for September 21

MOSCOW, June 7. /TASS/. The two forthcoming launches of Soyuz space rockets from the Baikonur cosmodrome are due at the end of this summer and in early autumn, the press-service of the Progress space rocket center has told TASS.

"The further launches of Soyuz-2 rockets from Baikonur are scheduled for August and September 2022," the press-service said.

Earlier, Roscosmos said that a crewed flight to the ISS (of the Soyuz MS-22 spacecraft) was scheduled for September 21. Currently the crew in training for the mission looks as follows: Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergey Prokopiev, Dmitry Petelin and Anna Kikina. If a decision is made Kikina will fly on the United States’ Crew Dragon, NASA’s astronaut Francisco Rubio will take her seat in the Soyuz capsule.
