NEW YORK, May 11. /TASS/. Relations between US and Russian crews at the International Space Station (ISS) have not changed at all over the situation around Ukraine, all those at the space station intend to work productively and apply joint efforts to support its operations, NASA astronaut Thomas Marshburn who returned from the ISS last week said on Wednesday.

"As far as the international relations go, that has not changed at all. And we've had 40 plus year relationship with our international partners and with the Russian colleagues as well," he said at a press conference on the occasion of the return of the Crew-3 space mission which also included NASA astronauts Raja Chari, Kayla Barron and a German European Space Agency astronaut Matthias Maurer.

The astronaut noted that over the six months spent at the ISS, working with all the colleagues "has been not only productive, but also very pleasant" for Crew-3. "And so we've been able to maintain that relationship to stay safe, stay alive, get a lot of good work done, maintain the space station and keep it going," he concluded.

The Crew Dragon spacecraft of the American company SpaceX with the Crew-3 mission on board returned to Earth on May 6, two days prior to that Marshburn relinquished command of the ISS to Russian cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev who is also a TASS special correspondent aboard the ISS by handing over a symbolic key to the station. Additionally, Roscosmos cosmonauts Denis Matveev and Sergey Korsakov are aboard the station, as well as NASA astronauts Kjell Lindgren, Robert Hines and Jessica Watkins and an Italian European Space Agency astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti.
