Russia begins work on Soyuz-5 carries rocket

It will make it possible to "mobilize the entire space sector", chief of Russia’s state space corporation Dmitry Rogozin said
MOSCOW, July 22. /TASS/. Russia has begun work on a new Soyuz-5 carrier rocket, chief of Russia’s state space corporation Dmitry Rogozin said on Sunday.
"Works on a Soyuz-5 rocket kicked off at Energia Rocket and Space Corporation, Rorgress Rocket and Space Center and Energomash NPO. Next, we will begin works on a super-heavy rocket," he wrote on his Twitter account.
"It will make it possible to mobilize the entire space sector, to overhaul it and use our powerful designer and production potential."
At a meeting with Roscosmos top executives earlier in July, Russian President Vladimir Putin set a task of beginning test launches of the Soyuz-5 carried rocket in 2022.
