Washington responsible for Bryansk terrorist attack — Russian ambassador
On Thursday, Ukrainian saboteurs intruded into the border area of Russia’s Bryansk Region, two people were killed in the attack and a boy, born in 2012, was wounded
WASHINGTON, March 3. /TASS/. Washington was behind the backs of those who opened gunfire against civilians in the Bryansk Region, Russian Ambassador to the US Anatoly Antonov said, commenting on another package of military aid to Kiev from Washington.
The Russian embassy in the United States released Antonov’s commentary on Friday.
"With each shipment of US weapons, the Kiev criminals have more and more permissiveness," he said. "Inspired by the support of the United States, they go for inhumane acts such as the terrorist attack in the Bryansk Region. Washington stands behind the backs of those who shot civilians, and therefore it is responsible for these atrocities. The blood of the victims is already ‘on the hands’ of the United States."
"The more vigorously the Administration helps Kiev, the more frequently the Ukrainian regime resorts to terrorist tactics, putting women, children and the elderly in the crosshairs of NATO guns. So Russia will continue as ruthlessly as possible to stamp out any attempts to attack civilians. We cannot be intimidated," Antonov emphasized.
On Thursday, Ukrainian saboteurs intruded into the border area of Russia’s Bryansk Region. Official reports say two people were killed in the attack and a boy, born in 2012, was wounded. Russia’s Federal Security Service reported that along with Russian Defense Ministry forces, it took "action to destroy the armed Ukrainian nationalists who violated the state border." Russian President Vladimir Putin slammed the incident as an act of terrorism.
