Typhoon caused heaviest rainfall in the southern parts of the Primorsky territory

Typhoon Goni struck Russia’s Far-Eastern Maritime territory and the city of Vladivostok on the night from Wednesday to Thursday. It caused heaviest rainfall in the southern parts of the Primorsky territory. The territorial authorities earlier announced an emergency regime. Heavy rainfall is likely to form inundations in the local rivers where the water will rise by one to three meters.
