MOSCOW, August 6. /TASS/. Russia’s Investigative Committee (IC) has finished questioning of former Yukos CEO Mikhail Khodorkovsky’s father on Thursday.

A TASS correspondent reported that Boris Khodorkovsky left the building where the questioning was held together with his lawyer Sergey Badamishin.

According to yesterday’s reports, investigator Burtov summoned Boris Khodorkovsky for questioning. Burtov earlier led the case against former head of Yukos security service Alexey Pichugin. It is expected that the questioning will be connected with investigation of murder of Nefteyugansk Mayor Vladimir Petukhov.

On June 30, IC spokesman Vladimir Markin said that the investigation of murder of Nefteyugansk Mayor Petukhov in 1998 will be resumed in view of newly discovered circumstances. IC said it received information that suggests that Mikhail Khodorkovsky could have organized the contract killing and committed other grave crimes.
