GROZNY, July 15. /TASS/. The Islamic State terrorist organisation will never penetrate into Chechnya, the head of the North Caucasus republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, said on Wednesday.

Kadyrov dismissed the Islamic State's claims that it had opened branches in the North Caucasus.

"I want to assure you that these shaitans have nothing to hope for," he said. "The Chechen Republic will never have their bases, branches and even smell."

"Their organised groups will never come here and if they risk to, this will be the last thing they do in their life," Kadyrov said.

The Chechen leader said their task is to "hamper the ongoing peaceful processes" by any means. "That’s why we are also acting preventively to protect the Chechen Republic which is a territory of peace and creation."

Each head of a federal subject should be in charge of security, Kadyrov said adding that they should "carry out this policy that will never allow Western special services to stage provocations."

"We should maintain and ensure security ourselves," Kadyrov stressed.

The head of Chechnya earlier on Wednesday announced that he had conducted a snap check of special forces’ combat readiness in the republic. Kadyrov praised the training of the troops. "These guys are capable of performing almost any task," he noted.
