Russian Railways source said the new railway would enhance Russia’s security as controls will be tightened over unwanted persons arriving in Russia from a neighbouring country
MOSCOW, April 25. /TASS/. A branch railway line connecting the Russian city of Zhuravka (Voronezh region) with Millerovo (Rostov region) in bypassing Ukraine will be built in 2018, a source from the Russian Defence Ministry told Tass on Saturday.
Russian Railways Company earlier reported about upcoming construction of a branch railway line.
"It’s high time to put an end to arbitrariness and extortions by Ukrainian border guards and customs officers towards Russian citizens traveling in southbound trains via Ukraine," a Russian Railways source said.
He also said the new railway would enhance Russia’s security as controls will be tightened over unwanted persons arriving in Russia from a neighbouring country.
