Russia assigns high priority to developing multifaceted relations with Cuba — PM Medvedev

Prime Minister added that Russia was expecting the arrival of Cuba’s President Raul Castro in Moscow for the Victory Day celebrations.

MOSCOW, April 24. /TASS/. Russia places a high priority on developing multifaceted relations with Cuba, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev told Deputy Chairman of Cuba’s Council of Ministers Ricardo Cabrisas.

"Cuba is our very important partner," the Russian premier said. "Our cooperation is multifaceted," he noted.

Medvedev added that Russia was expecting the arrival of Cuba’s President Raul Castro in Moscow for the Victory Day celebrations. "I take this opportunity to give my best regards to Raul and Fidel Castro," the Russian premier said.
