Medvedev: economic problems should not intervene with Far East development

KHABAROVSK, April 4. /TASS/. Russia’s economic problems should not intervene with Far East development plans, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has told a conference in Khabarovsk devoted to the implementation of local anti-crisis development plans on Saturday.

"Of course, the problems the economy has encountered these days should not intervene with our plans for the development of the Far East," he said. He also recalled preparations for creating outpacing development territories and other plans, including investment projects.
