Russia ends probe into Total CEO's plane crash at Moscow's airport

Six defendants and their 11 lawyers are currently getting acquainted with the materials of the criminal case

MOSCOW, March 26. /TASS/. The Russian Investigative Committee has completed the investigation against six suspects in the case of the Falcon jet crash at Moscow's airport that killed the CEO of France’s oil and gas giant Total, a committee spokesman said on Thursday.

Total CEO Christophe de Margerie and three crew were killed as his business jet hit a snowplow on take-off at Vnukovo airport on October 21, 2014. The plane caught fire after the collision.

"Six defendants and their 11 lawyers are currently getting acquainted with the materials of the criminal case," spokesman Vladimir Markin told TASS.
