MOSCOW, March 16. /TASS/. The belfry of the Novodevichy Convent in downtown Moscow has caught fire, law enforcement agencies and emergencies services reported.

Over 100 people are taking part in the effort to extinguish the flames, the Moscow department of the Emergencies Ministry told TASS.
