Russia’s land troops to take part in 7 int’l exercises - land troops commander

MOSCOW, February 22. /TASS/. Russia’s land troops will take part in seven international exercises in 2015, including joint drills with the Chinese and Indian military, Commander of the Russian Land Troops Colonel General Oleg Salyukov said on Sunday.

"Land troops units will take part in seven international drills, including in joint exercises with army units from China, Serbia, India, Mongolia and member countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (OSCE)," he said.

According to earlier reports, Russia’s land troops plan to take part in six joint peacekeeping and anti-terrorist exercises.

Salyukov said that the central event of the year would be strategic drill Centre-2015.
