Drunk college student from Kalmykia bites off police officer’s finger in Moscow's metro
The incident happened on February, 1 at the Chkalovskaya metro station
MOSCOW, February 2. /TASS/. A drunk college student from Kalmykia has bitten off a police officer’s finger, while fighting with the latter, the Moscow police press service has informed TASS.
According to the police headquarters, the accident happened on Sunday, February, 1 at 01:15am Moscow time at the Chkalovskaya metro station. “After the metro station had been closed, a police officer was turning a drunk young man out. The latter offered resistance and bit the police officer’s finger off the right hand”, the press service has reported.
The polic office said that the student was detained and the police officer was hospitalized. According to the head of police press service at the Moscow metro Alexey Myshlyaev, the victim underwent a successful medical operation. Now he is going through a course of medical rehabilitation in a Moscow hospital.
