MOSCOW, January 31. /TASS/. Fire in the building of the main library of the Institute for Research Information on Social Sciences (INION), which reports to the Russian Academy of Sciences, has destroyed 15% of all copies kept there, Dr. Vladimir Fortov, the president of the academy said.

He indicated however that some of the printed materials kept in the library’s depositaries could be restored.
