“We will determine our position on the macroeconomic forecast for the next few years and on the parameters of the promising state armament program," Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said

NOVO-OGAREVO, January 20. /TASS/. State expenditures on the armament program are not being cut yet, but some deadlines for fulfillment of orders would probably be shifted due to the necessity of import substitution, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said Tuesday after a meeting of the Military-Industrial Commission held by President Vladimir Putin.

“We will determine our position on the macroeconomic forecast for the next few years and on the parameters of the promising state armament program, because the forecast is fluctuating, the situation is changing fast,” Rogozin said. At the same time, he noted that “expenditures are not being reduced yet.”

“There are natural phenomena in industry, which lead to a shift in implementation of separate tasks of the state defense order, and this shift will be taken into account when the budget is being formed,” he said.
