Two injured in blast at bus stop in East Siberia’s Angarsk

Police have cordoned off the adjacent area and are questioning dwellers and by-passers

IRKUTSK, January 15. /TASS/. According to preliminary reports, two people were injured in a blast which went off at a public transport stop in the city of Angarsk, East Siberia’s Irkutsk region, on Thursday morning, the press service of the regional police department reported.

The incident occurred at 8.35am local time (00.35 GMT) in the 211th city district. “The police have information about two wounded people who are being identified. They are a man who was taken to hospital and a woman who has got slight injuries, according to preliminary reports,” the regional police department said.

Police have cordoned off the adjacent area and are questioning dwellers and by-passers.
