Moscow invites Kim Jong-un to attend 70th Victory Day anniversary — Kremlin spokesman

The 60th anniversary of victory was attended by the leaders of the United States, Japan, France, Germany and China.

MOSCOW, December 19. /TASS/. Moscow has sent an invitation to the leader of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Kim Jong-un, to celebrations on the occasion of the forthcoming 70th anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany.

“It is true that such an invitation has been sent,” Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov has confirmed to TASS.

Russia on May 9, 2015 will be celebrating the 70th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War. By tradition the leaders of many countries are invited to attend the festivities. The ceremonies timed for the 60th anniversary of victory were attended by the leaders of the United States, Japan, France, Germany and China.
