Russia starts forming 10th humanitarian convoy to eastern Ukraine

MOSCOW, December 15. /TASS/. Russia’s Emergencies Ministry has started forming the tenth convoy with humanitarian aid, which will also deliver New Year gifts to the citizens of eastern Ukraine, the ministry’s official spokesman told TASS on Monday.

“The convoy will be formed in the coming days and will be sent when completed,” spokesman Alexander Drobyshevsky said.

Trucks with humanitarian cargo from the Urals, Volga, North-Western, Southern and Central federal districts are being sent to the Rostov region, in southern Russia, where the convoy will be formed, he said.

The convoy will also deliver food and construction materials.

The previous 9 convoys since August 11 have delivered фещгтв 12,000 tons of humanitarian supplies to Ukraine's conflict-torn east.
