MOSCOW, December 12. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier discussed the situation in Ukraine during their telephone conversation on Friday, the Russian Foreign Ministry said, adding that the conversation was initiated by the German side.

“The sides discussed pressing problems of the international agenda, focusing on the situation in and around Ukraine,” the ministry said.
