Putin to make official visit to Uzbekistan December 10

MOSCOW, December 8. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will make an official visit to Uzbekistan on December 10, the Kremlin press service said on Monday.

“During the talks, the parties are expected to discuss further development of Russian-Uzbek strategic partnership, primarily in the trade, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres,” the Kremlin said.

Putin and Uzbek officials “are due to exchange views on regional stability, including the situation in Afghanistan”, it said.

“Several bilateral documents are planning to be signed,” the Kremlin said.
