MOSCOW, November 28. /TASS/. This year Russia’s Interior Ministry troops have inflicted serious casualties on armed groups in the Caucasus, Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev said on Friday.

Seventy-three criminals have been neutralized and over 100 infrastructure facilities have been destroyed, he said.

“Thus, we can note the tendency for stable stabilization in the subordinate entities of the North Caucasian Federal District,” Kolokoltsev said.

Commenting on threats to global stability, he said extremism is the most dangerous threat. He noted that it sows strife and poses a threat to stability and public security,” Kolokoltsev said.

“The analysis of the military-political situation in the world, including the recent events in Ukraine, proves that the theory of the so-called ‘controlled chaos’ has become one of the means for resolving global geopolitical conflicts,” he said.
