MOSCOW, November 26. /TASS/. Russia’s Federation Council upper house of parliament has ratified an agreement with Kazakhstan on military and technical cooperation.
The accord regulates mutual military supplies for the two countries’ armed forces, law enforcement agencies and security services.
It envisages a more favourable regime for interaction of the sides in the development, production, operation, repair, modernization, prolongation of the service life, and utilization of armaments and military equipment.
The term of this agreement is for five years and is automatically renewed for successive five year periods.
Russia has already signed similar deals with Belarus and Armenia.
