Over 600,000 people take part in Russia’s National Unity Day celebrations

The ministry said 75,000 people attended the “We Are United” event in downtown Moscow alone

MOSCOW, November 5. /TASS/. More than 600,000 people took part in festive events on National Unity Day that Russia marked on November 4, the Russian Interior Ministry told TASS on Tuesday.

The ministry said 75,000 people attended the “We Are United” event in downtown Moscow alone.

Some 30,000 police officers ensured public security in Russia on Tuesday.

“No serious violations were registered. Law and order were ensured in full,” the statement said.
